Bedford County Busted Mugshots is a private reference resource, not a government office. We cannot confirm current custody, release a person, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. Contact the responsible government office directly for those actions.
Where to Direct a Record Question
The office that created a record is normally the best place to request it. BADC current-custody questions and jail-side records belong with the regional jail authority. A BPD incident report belongs with BPD Records. BCSO handles its own reports, including CAD and full reports, while the court carries case-status and disposition records.

For a current-custody lookup, record request, court status, or a source explanation, use the most relevant route below.
- For an adult booking photograph or BADC incarceration record, start with BRRJA and identify the name, approximate booking date, facility, and record requested.
- For a BCSO-created report, use the sheriff’s FOIA route. The posted prices are $3.50 for a CAD Sheet Report and $7.00 for a Full Report; other charges may apply.
- For a Town of Bedford incident or arrest report, contact BPD Records with the incident date, location, and report number if known.
- For a hearing or case outcome, use Virginia court case information or the Bedford General District Court, 540-586-7637, and the Circuit Court Clerk, 540-586-7632.
- For a summary of the official search sequence, visit the Bedford County home page.
- For a warrant-status verification route, see Wanted Fugitives; do not rely on an unofficial wanted list.
- For a sentenced person in state custody, use the Virginia Department of Corrections offender locator. Federal and immigration custody use the appropriate federal locator, not a Bedford booking record.
